In September in Crimea the first has passed БАБАФЕСТ - festival of the young female projects playing cheerful non-standard music in genres: салонные songs, a cabaret, фолк, a city chanson, a prison romance, a disco, a perkussija-jazz, the woman-art house.
Three musical maiden projects took part in it. For the first time within the limits of БАБАФЕСТА to Russia there has arrived the Russian dissident and American singer Ellina Graypel, throughout 20 years refusing visiting of Russia. In November at Ellina Graypel there will pass a series of concerts in Moscow and Petersburg.
Besides it in a format unplugged on seacoast acted group «Розенкранц and Гильденстерн» and Ульяна Angelevsky. Last day on cape Kazantip there has passed joint electric jam-concert of all collectives, and also night mysteries of theatre Virginalis.
In БАБАФЕСТЕ young actors also have taken part: poet Galina Petrov (Moscow), guitarist Anton DadliFeniks (Moscow), the mime-perkusionnaja group "Туроре" (Щелкино).
Following БАБАФЕСТ will take place in January in Yalta. Most incendiary "women" of Russia are invited to it - groups the Willow Is new, Михална, on Eighth of March, Oksana Chush, С'нега, Silver wedding, Eugene Gljukk, etc. Organizers намерены to stylise БАБАФЕСТ in the spirit of film АССА. Besides standard concerts a number of non-standard concert formats, and also charitable performance in female prison is planned. Besides, on the second БАБАФЕСТЕ the first organised action перкуссионной groups "Women-daba" will take place, as the conductor the Willow will act Настя Постникова from group Is new.
